Ring of Fire
Ring of Fire is a documentary TV series and digital media project about the RING of FIRE – a $50+ billion chromite mining development in the Far North of Ontario, Canada, on traditional indigenous territories. The six half hour TV programs feature the Oji-Cree people closest to the proposed mining development as they explain the social, cultural, ecological and economic issues that are of most concern to them and their communities. The Ring of Fire website also contains related podcasts and information about this mega-mining development.
