A Beautiful Forest
As seen through the Mi’kmaq, Wolastoqey (Maliseet) and Passamoquoddy First Nations people, the documentary film and digital media project, A Beautiful Forest, takes you on an enlightened journey about a mixed, old growth forest in New Brunswick, Canada, known as, the Acadian Forest. As indigenous people they explain what has happened to their territorial lands’ since the last ice age 10,000 years ago, with the arrival of European settlers in the 1500’s, and after Canada became a country in 1867.
